Dresser 10C25 Meters with Digital Instruments Index 

The Dresser ROOTS 10C25 rotary meter delivers advanced features in a small package. Its compact design allows for quick and easy installation, while remaining aesthetically pleasing. This space saver’s advanced capabilities and features are a benefit in comparison to bulkier, larger-sized meters.

Similar to our D Series meters, the Dresser ROOTS 10C25 rotary meter delivers advanced features with a small footprint. Sized for applications typically reserved for large diaphragm meters, the trim design allows for ease of installation while also providing measurement capabilities typically reserved for larger sized meters.

Dresser Digital Instrument Indexes

In addition to an oil free rotary meter body based on legacy Dresser ROOTS meter products, the 10C25 also features the Dresser Digital Instrument (DI) index. The Dresser Digital Instrument (DI) is available in non-compensated, temperature-compensated (DI-T) and vault capable varieties. Indexes are simple to configure, allow for multiple pulse output options and provide 150+ days of hourly data stored in non-volatile memory.

Meter Accuracy

Dresser ROOTS meters are synonymous with reliable long-term accuracy. The Dresser 10C25 meter continues this legacy with a proven oil free design based on the successful 20+ year track record of 5C15 and 8C15 ROOTS Meters. With a start rate of only 0.35 acfh, the 10C25 rapidly climbs to an accuracy of 99% at only 10 acfh (1% Rangeability of 95:1) which makes this meter an excellent tool for accurately capturing gas loads ranging from pilot flows to full capacity.

Quick Proving

Accuracy testing is quick and simple due to the Dresser Digital Index. Utilizing a one cable interface, the proving time is less than 5 minutes. No special software or computer programs are required for testing. An inexpensive fixture to hold the meter is also available for ease of testing on common cabinet type sonic nozzle test systems.

Diaphragm Meter Conversion Kit

Conversion kits are available to assist our customers in converting existing diaphragm meter sets to a 10C25 compatible configuration. Available with and without drain plugs, our conversion kits allow for the quick and easy changeout resulting in reduced footprint and greater measurement accuracy. The kits are compatible with 8-1/4” and 11” center to center IPS connections.
