HOUSTON – Flow Safe, Inc., part of the Dresser Utility Solutions Overpressure Protection product line and a leader in pressure relief solutions, has received DNV Certification for marine and offshore applications. The certification reinforces Flow Safe’s commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance pressure protection solutions for marine and offshore industries operating in demanding environments.
Issued by DNV, one of the world’s leading independent classification and certification organizations, the Type Approval confirms that Flow Safe’s safety relief valves meet stringent requirements for marine applications, including liquefied gas tankers and gas-fueled vessel installations. The certification provides independent verification of product quality, safety and performance in applications where equipment reliability is critical to personnel safety, operational continuity and environmental protection.
The approved product portfolio includes the F7000 and F8000 pilot-operated pressure relief valves, as well as the F88 spring-operated safety relief valve. These products are designed to deliver accurate pressure control and dependable overpressure protection across a wide range of marine and offshore systems, including LNG cargo handling equipment, fuel gas systems, propulsion systems, hydraulic systems, cooling systems and offshore processing equipment.
