Building on the benefits of the MC3 Nexus corrector, the MC3 Guardian continuously monitors for measurement abnormalities and provides immediate notification of irregularities, thus prompting the user for service. Instead of the technician going to the meter for a wellness check, the corrector now calls the technician for assistance. Additionally, the MC3 Guardian constantly updates the differential pressure (DP) measurement reading, as required by many state utility commissions.

The MC3 Guardian allows Local Gas Distribution Companies (LDCs) to identify and diagnose issues within the metering system and implement solutions where and when needed. More than a full-featured gas volume corrector, the Guardian serves as an operations and maintenance gateway.
