The Information Technology Services and Cyber Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, ensuring the security of data and network operations across European operations. This role involves strategic planning, implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions, risk management and engages with global IT leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and cyber security, with a deep understanding of European regulations and standards. Leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Crafting and implementing a comprehensive IT and cyber security strategy aligned with technological trends, the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.
- Cyber Security Management: Leading efforts to safeguard information systems against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches. This includes managing security tools, conducting risk assessments, and developing response plans for security incidents.
- Team Leadership: Managing a highly motivated team of IT, application developers and cyber security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and continuous skill development.
- Technology Oversight: Overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems (ERP) and security systems. This includes managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and procurement of technology solutions.
- Incident Management: Leading the response to IT and security incidents, minimizing impact, conducting post-incident analysis, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Education and Awareness: Leading initiatives to promote IT and cyber security awareness within the organization, including training programs and regular communication on potential threats and best practices.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience operational infrastructure support, with at least 5+ years of IT Management
- Be able to travel ~ 25% to service and manage other European locations
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Strong experience with ERP systems and application databases. Prefer Oracle and Sage
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations
- Strong problem solving, analytics and research capabilities and ability to handle changing priorities, deal with ambiguity and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate integrity, outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English and German, French would be a plus
